RKI Interior Design is an award-winning design firm specializing in high-end interior design projects.

We operate principally on the San Francisco Peninsula and enjoy a  fine reputation throughout Silicon Valley - from Atherton and Palo Alto to Hillsborough, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, and Woodside.  We have undertaken assignments in Carmel, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe. 

Commercial engagements include: Venture Law, CitiCorp, Hibernia Bank, First Bank and Trust, St. Francis Hospital and various medical office suites. Hospitality projects include Highland Dell Lodge and the Radisson Hotel.

RKI Interior Design is a full service firm with a dedicated office, resource library, and staff to handle any project.  We collaborate with architects and builders to provide clients with individual and creative design solutions for new home construction and remodeling projects.  The RKI team strives to create living and working environments within a range of styles suited to the client.

About Us ImagePrincipal designer Risë Krag has over 30 years of experience in commercial, residential and hospitality design.  Risë Krag has spent most of her life in San Francisco and northern California, and has traveled throughout the USA,and extensively through Canada, Europe, Central America and Indonesia.  With a BA in Interior Design from San Jose State University and additional studies at the East West Center at the University of Hawaii, and the SF Art Institute, Risë brings a wide range of experience to each project.
