Residential Projects

Palo Alto Home

This home was a remodel that flipped the function of the home. The large open space opened into the dining area which was rarely used. The kitchen and return blocked the back of home with a view of a running creek flanked with tall trees.

A new garden and patio was created that created a focal point for gathering. The new kitchen layout created an entry wall, more storage, updated appliances and new lighting. The living area and dining area were placed near the large sliding doors with contemporary lighting and increased the open space.

Custom rugs were woven to create unity and define areas in this open plan. Existing artworks were rehung and assembled as a collection.
